Select one Consumer (Alexander or Eliza) from the Scenarios available as the basis for your assignment [you will base your entire assignment on one of the 2 case scenarios only]. 2. Choose 2 different Recovery Processes from the 5 Recovery Processes outline in the CHIME (2011) Conceptual Recovery Framework as follows: a. Connectedness. b. Hope and optimism about the future. c. Identity. d. Meaning in Life. e. Empowerment. 3. This model was discussed in the Week 1 Lecture this semester so you should start with reviewing this. 4. For both of the 2 Recovery Process’s you chose you are required to: a. State the Recovery Process you are choosing to focus on and provide your own description for the process (supported with in-text references). b. Write 3 Mental Health Nursing Interventions for the Consumer in the case study that are specifically relevant to the principles of the Recovery Process you have chosen (supported with in-text references). c. Provide a reflective statement for each set of interventions intervention outlining why these interventions are going to support the aspect of the recovery process you discussed (supported with in-text references). 5. Recovery Focused Nursing Care Plan Writing Instructions: Recovery Process 1: In this section you need to state the Recovery Process you are choosing to focus on and provide your own description for the process. You must support your writing with in-text literature to support your description. This section should be ~ 100 words in length. MH Nursing Interventions for the Consumer: 1. For each of these 3 MH Nursing Interventions you need to: [1] Describe clearly a specific and detailed MH Nursing intervention supporting this description with intext literature. [2] Discuss how you would deliver the intervention for the consumer; this requires you link your intervention back to the care of the Consumer you chose. Consider how / when you might undertake the intervention and who else it might involve. Each of the Interventions should be ~100 words in length. 2. As per the instructions in #1: you need to make sure that your 3 MH Nursing Interventions are distinct and different from each other. Avoid interventions that essentially involve the same actions / components just described differently. 3. Finally, you need to make sure that each of the 3 MH Nursing Interventions is specifically relevant to the care of the Consumer you chose (rather than being overly broad / generic). Purpose: The purpose of this assessment is for students to demonstrate the capacity to develop an ethical argument/s based on the four ethical principles: autonomy, justice, beneficence, and non-maleficence. Students will use their allocated topic to develop a sound ethical argumentative opinion piece.
Assignment details: During the 1st week of lectures your tutor will allocate a topic for discussion from the prescribed four options. Using the allocated topic given to you construct an argumentative essay.

Topics 1. Healthcare workers have a moral obligation to care for COVID19 patients and cannot object to caring for these patients.
